This is a no-reserve auction.
Up for auction here is a rare find - an excellent example of the original 1980 limited edition USA pressing of the original sound track for the movie "Shogun Assassin" with music produced by Mark Lindsay and composed by W. Michael Lewis, Mark Lindsay and Robert Houston.
This is a limited edition, promotional only album by Baby-Cart Productions (CR 4148). On the back of the jacket it indicates that this is a special limited edition pressing for promotional purposes only and not for sale. On the record labels it says "For Promotional Use Only."
Grading of Vinyl Record: NM-
The record is very close to being in near mint condition. Side B is nice and shiny and clean with no groove damage (no scratches of any kind). It should play perfectly. Side A is very close to being in the same condition as Side B, but there is one small area on the first track that appears to have a scuff. So, side B should also play perfectly or very close to perfectly. Both record labels are in near mint, like-new condition.
Grading of Jacket: VG++
The album jacket is nice and shiny and clean with virtually no ring or other surface wear. The spine, edges and corners are excellent, except that the top two inches of the spine has a split in the outer paper layer only - not all the way through.
You would be hard-pressed to find an unsealed example of this album in better condition than the one for sale here.
