Description

Shostakovitch - String Quartets No. 4 and No. 8. Performed by the Borodin String Quartet. This is (according to the notes on the sleeve) the first recording made in the Soviet Union by American technicians, musical staff and equipment.

Label: Mercury Living Presense 35mm, SR90309, stereo recording

Condition: Vinyl is VG++, very lightt sleeve marks, otherwise clean and glossy. Sleeve is VG+, clean white back with red inspector's stamp, some discoloration along left side on front, could have been printed that way. Plum labels have a cople of very light trail marks. Also comes with Mercury inner sleeve.

Payment: I accept PayPal for payment. Please complete your payment within 3 business days after receiving invoice. If you are potentially bidding on additional items, please feel free to hold off in order to combine shipping, but do let me know so I'm not firing off emails to you.

Condition Guide - all records visually graded unless noted:

Sealed - Still sealed in orginal shrink. If there are any breaks in the shrink, it will be noted.
Excellent - Will shows signs of very light play - maybe a trail mark or two, but that's it - vinyl itself is visually clean and will play well. A lot of other people might call it NM.
VG++ - same as above, but maybe a mark or two on the vinyl will be noted.

Anything else will be lower - with more comprehensive notes on exact nature of issues.

Sleeves will be graded in a similar fashion - NM will have nice sharp corners, clean on both sides, no ringwear or cuts. You can probably figure the rest out from here...
