Shostakovich - String Quartets 1 - 10 - Beethoven Quartet

First the good news, this is an ultra rare 1965 set of the first 10 quartets played by the Beethoven Quartet pressed onto thick heavy vinyl. The bad news is that some of the sides are quite scuffed and scratched, other sides are much better however. I have cleaned and play tested them all on a Beogram 5500 and at no time does the needle skip or stick in the groove although there is quite a bit of surface noise mostly at the beginning of sides. Such is the interest of this set, that it is more than a stop-gap and must have some value.
