Shostakovich Complete String Quartets Fitzwilliam String Quartet DECCA D188 D7 Stereo
Box set of 7 records. All records are in EX/EX+ condition apart for the first side of record 1 which has a small patch of 'repetitive static' and two short faint repetitive ticks. These are hardly noticeable, and do not detract from the overall excellence of the set. There are occasional pops/ticks on the other records but these are few and far between, and the overall sound quality is really excellent. The box is in EX+ condition. 
This is something of a legendary set of records. The quartet were personal friends with Shostakovich, and he entrusted the premieres of his final three quartets to them. They were the first quartet to perform and record the entire set of quartets.
