This set includes the opening and closing of the 6/24/1937 "Maxwell House 'Showboat' Reference Recordings" --- including, as best I can determine,  parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 (all confirmed) - along with 14 or 15 (not totally clear; most likely 14...) and 16 (confirmed).  Part 1 is clear in regard to the show's opening.  Part 2 is Good.  Parts 3 & 4 have some minor skips.  Parts 5 - 16 are good (as noted above, 4 parts are missing).  This was the 246th performance of the "Maxwell House 'Showboat'"... featuring "musical highlights of the 20th Century..." and the famous "Molasses and January" (very clear and good) show.  "Maxwell House" coffee ads are scattered throughout, as are some other ads and information pertinent to the times.
