I’ve decided to sell a 12-inch record I got signed by the members of James, including lead singer Tim Booth, in the summer of 1990. This record was autographed at a record-signing event at HMV in Oxford St, where the band played a couple of numbers live in the store. They all completely hated doing it, hence Jim’s rather unsubtle hint on the back and Tim’s ironic “On top of the world”... This is a great personalised piece of James memorabilia that has simply been gathering dust. Although I’m pleased to have it, I think it’s time it went to a genuine James collector and a better home! The vinyl itself is in excellent condition, with no scratches. It has only been played once or twice – though it has to be said that was a very long time ago. It has always been stored upright and in suitable conditions. The sleeve is very good, with just a couple of very light marks on the back. Any questions please ask.
