This piece is really hard for me to let go off...  But I need the $$ and I've already enjoyed having this for over 15 years now.  I purchased this through a friend I know from the online tape trading community (anyone else remember that!?)...  He lived in NY and got a total of 3 of these posters at a Foo Fighters instore performance and the Virgin Megastore in NYC.  I was able to buy one of his 3 posters from him in 1996 and I've had it ever since!  Its traveled with me from Florida to California.

First off, this is COMPLETELY SIGNED by the FULL ORIGINAL LINEUP, which only existed for the first couple tours and Taylor Hawkins has been the drummer ever since the beginning of their touring for TCATS in 1997.  What makes this poster extra sweet is that Dave added some extra artwork to his face and put a nice heart around his autograph (see photos).  This is really an ultimate piece for any Foo Fighters / Dave Grohl fan.  The Nate Mendel signature is a little faint and it looks like his sharpie was running low on ink when he signed.  Pat Smear signed just "Pat" over his left shoulder and looks nice and sharp.  William Goldsmith signed his complete first and last names and signed in a dark area under his chin.  It is clearly visible up close, and looks great.  All these autographs are GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC.  Unfortunately I never paid to have it authenticated but I think most serious collectors can verify by looking at each signature that this is the real deal.  This is also an extremely rare print and not a mass-produced poster (not even considering the signatures).

One of the nice things about the piece for whoever wins it is going to be saving $300.00 on custom framing!!!  I worked in an art gallery in college and had this framed using THE BEST materials.  The total size of the frame is 31 inches x 37 inches.  The image size of the poster is 25 inches by 30 inches.  Th frame is 1.5 inches deep.  100% UV Protective Glass so you won't have to worry about fading from sunlight!  Archival (acid free) 6-ply matting all around, cut to custom fit.  Archival backing behind the poster to prevent "yellowing" over time.  The poster was also mounted in a way that will not hurt the value of the piece.  it has NOT been glued down the backing board behind the poster, instead it was mounted to the matting using an archival tape that is designed not to damage the artwork.  If you took this to a custom frame shop they would charge you an arm and leg to have it set up like this.  This will save you a fortune.
