Encased in a hard cover album, this deluxe version contains a re-pressing of 3 classic Sigur Ros LP's: Agaetis Byrjun and Takk. 

As a special bonus, Smaskifa which has never before been released in a 12" format is included in the set (7 total pieces of vinyl). 

These LP's slip into seven individually customized vinyl sleeves which are designed with original photography from the 2006 Takk tour. 

The classic publication is included in this package, and slips into a customized jacket inside the back cover.

Unfortunately, while the design of the item is beautiful, the engineering leaves something to be desired - as you can see from the pictures, there is a tear at the base of the binding.  This occurs in many copies because the spine isn't strong enough to support the weight of the rectangular cover & contents. There are some lesser stress-related issues along the spine, which I have tried to picture - it's a bit hard because of the outer packaging color. They are far less severe than the tear.

Unlike many copies I've seen, the binding is firmly intact (most have had at least one of the bound in sleeves torn out).

These types of issues seem to plague all / most copies, sadly. Otherwise the condition is excellent, with the vinyl appearing to be unplayed, which is quite likely the case. I'm listing it as used because it is opened, even though I believe the discs to be unplayed.

Great item from an amazing music collection I'm just starting to list.  Over the next few weeks you will see TONS of incredible records from this collection.  Look in my eBay store under "Pedigree Collection - Records" and prepare to be amazed!

SOME BACKGROUND ON THE COLLECTION:  This collection comes from a longtime music business professional who started his career in the 70's as a clerk at a very cool LA based record store chain that dealt in lots of import product.  By the late 70's he'd started a company that specialized in importing records from all over the world (not just the UK, as had previously been the standard).  The company handled a lot of obscure progrssive, punk and industrial releases and the gentleman in question set aside a copy of EVERYTHING they brought in.  Out of the import company grew a label (one of the most successful independent labels of all time with HUGE acts) which was eventually sold to a major label.  The owner then continued working in the Industry for the next 20+ years, acquiring a tremendous amount of product along the way. Like many avid music consumers, he didn't have time to listen to as much as he'd have liked and much of the collection is unplayed or barely played.  All items are graded visually.

He is now selling this collection through us - prepare to be amazed!

SHIPPING METHODS: We use USPS for most shipments. In some cases we may use UPS instead, especially if the package is large or oversized, so don't take the shipping method listed as gospel - your purchase could be sent by either carrier, but the majority go by USPS.

SHIPPING FEES:  We try hard to only charge actual cost + a fee of no more than $2.00 to cover materials, time, & other costs associated with each sale.  On most items, we undercharge.

COMBINING SHIPPING:  We are happy to do this for all customers, unless specifically stated in the listing, or if the items cannot be shipped together (for instance it's hard to send posters and records in the same package without damaging them, you get the drift).  Please request a total through the eBay system and we will do our best to reduce shipping for multiple items. NOTE THAT COMBINING SHIPPING DOES NOT ALWAYS REDUCE S&H COSTS, BUT IT WILL NEVER INCREASE YOUR S&H COST.

PAYMENT TIMELINE FOR US BUYERS: Since we only accept PayPal, there's no reason that payment can't be made at the moment of purchase. We allow a 48 hour period to make a payment from the end of the auction (or, in the case of multiple purchases, 48 hours after you get an invoice with combined shipping, if shipping can be combined).

SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS:  eBay & PayPal require tracking and/or insurance to protect both parties to a transaction.  First Class International shipping is inexpensive compared to other methods, but does not allow for tracking or insurance, so it is no longer used for International Shipments of merchandise valued at $24.99 or higher.

Items (or any combination of items) valued at $24.99 or more must ship by Priority Mail or better.  Priority is usually faster than 1st Class and includes insurance, but it costs more - minimum cost to even a nearby country like Canada is $21, and it goes up from there.  EMS is faster, includes insurance and tracking, and is usually more expensive.

S&H PRICES IN THE LISTING:  Typically the S&H prices in our listings are for the USA only.
