Description
This is a very rare recording by the Cuban percussionist, Silvestre Mendez who was part of the first wave of Cubans to migrate to Mexico in the early 1940s. he was very popular and assisted in bringing other Cuban musicians to Mexico including Mongo. Mendez appeared in several Mexican films too.
The record was used when I bought i. It already had the written notes you can see on the front & back covers, this hard to find LP was part of a group of records I bought at a swap meet in Miami in 1989 shortly after I moved there. This is a circa 1961 recording, 1970s re-issue
Vinyl: excellent, no spindle wear I repeat my text from Condition Description above: record is in very good condition, I bought this very rare LP at a swap meet in Miami shortly I moved there in 1989. I played it 1 time to record and then I put it away, it's been stored in my collection for over 25 years.

LP jacket has a bit of seam separation-on top left and left top edges, top, side and bottom edges show some wear. Side edge printing is intact. there is some slight wear on 3 corners ... Front cover shows some ring wear at top, sides and bottom. Back cover shows ring wear at top and bottom, back cover has hand written dedication. There is some tape residue back top and right edges. photos seen were taken with my cell camera, not the highest resolution, it's the actual LP
As a life long record collector, I protect and pack records very well before shipping using a traditional cardboard LP mailer
