Interesting copy of "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme" by Simon and Garfunkel. The shrink-wrap has a rare hype sticker attached to it promoting the song "7o'clock News/ Silent Night." This is an original mono copy of the LP. My guess is that the hype sticker was issued as a result of a couple of bands recording their own versions of the song in the same year. "The Hopeful" was one such band who issued their own 45s of "7 o'clock News" which resulted in Columbia issuing a promo 45 of the song by Simon and Garfunkel.
The shrink-wrapped cover has has no wear ring, no seam splits, and a clean back. Two of the corners show some fraying and there are creases on the top left corner. There is a little aging on the back cover at the mouth where the shrink doesn't cover it. I would grade the cover at a very strong VG+.
The vinyl is graded at near mint 8 on one side and vg++ on the other side because of some paper sleeve scuffs. There is also promo sticker on the label stating that the record was not for sale. Now, I played this LP all the way through and the fidelity was clear and crisp, and very quiet in the background even between tracks. A wonderful listening experience. Questions?? Please email me.
