Skepticism: Towards My End 7" (1992)

The incredibly rare first official release from the Finnish pioneers of funeral doom, Skepticism. Towards My End was released in 1992 by the band itself--no official word on the number of copies, but there can't be more than a couple of hundred of these. It's a white label 7" with a hand-written note (presumably by the band themselves) on each side, noting the speed (RPM) and the side (A/B) of the disc. There is also a matrix code, "PUNTT-1 A" and "PUNTT-1 B". As far as I know the 7" has been up for sale at eBay only once, so here's an almost-once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grab a copy of Finnish doom history. Needless to say, I will go to great pains in making sure that the EP reaches its new home in pristine condition and will pack it up to the best of my abilities.

Item condition:
VG++/VG++ (disc/sleeve--NB: I never use M or NM grades on a used record, no matter how perfect the condition) The sleeve has some minor ringwear and a crease in the upper right corner (front side). Otherwise in beautiful condition. The disc itself has minor visible surface scratches and some dust, but plays without any significant crackling sounds or other errors on my setup (a Rega P2 turntable with a reasonably new stylus).  The music itself drowns out almost all of the minor noises the cracks cause. All in all, considering the item's rarity and age, the overall condition is excellent (I almost marked it as EX-/EX-).

NB: The white dots all over the back cover are not scratches or other imperfections, they are a part of the printing. I do not know if the specks are what the band intended or a side effect of a lackluster print job, but each and every copy I've seen of the EP is the same -- there is a buttload of white specks on the black background. The front side doesn't have any such errors.
