Description
This is a 7" vinyl single released by British band Slade, featuring the songs "Know Who You Are" and "Dapple Rose". Manufactured in Turkey in 1970 on the Polydor record label, this vinyl still plays very well with no scratches or jumps. There are however, some 'crackles and pops' that can be heard from time to time. There are some minor marks on the vinyl too.
The record comes in the standard Turkish Polydor (red) sleeve, but note that the bottom edge of the sleeve / seam has become unstuck and care must be taken when handling the record and sleeve. The songs were written by Noddy Holder and the band.
Produced by Chas Chandler (note that his name has been printed in error as Chas Ghandler on the 'A' side), this pop-rock record was not a commercial success for the band, and the single was soon deleted by Polydor. However, it has since become a popular 'must-have' single for fans of Slade.
Recorded in English, this rare Turkish pressing is highly sought after by collectors.
