Up for sale is an authentic 1985 first pressing of Slayer’s Hell Awaits on Metal Blade Records / Combat Records (catalog MX 8020 / MBR 1040). This is the classic early thrash metal album with the legendary red/orange hellscape cover art, featuring the original Combat/Metal Blade labels and inner sleeve.
Condition
• Outer sleeve: VG – solid overall with light edge and corner wear, minor ring wear on the black back cover, and typical surface rubbing on the glossy front. No seam splits, writing, or stickers.
• Vinyl: VG – plays through cleanly with light surface marks/hairlines expected at this grade. Labels are bright and clean.
• Inner sleeve: VG – original photo collage/lyric insert is intact with light handling wear.
