Description
The Small Faces First Step still sealed US pressing on Warner Brothers Records WB 1851.
The band featured the original 3 core members of The Small Faces, Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagen and Kenny Jones with the addition of Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood from the recently broken up Jeff Beck Group….Steve Marriott use to chide the boys,that it took two people to replace him.
A very enjoyable record,from a fun bunch of guys that sure knew how to enjoy themselves on and off stage.
Flying,Wicked Messenger (Dylan),Devotion,Stone,Three Button Hand Me Down and Around The Plynth,are all really good songs on this most under rated and very nice on the ears.
The record is still sealed,so to grade it would be impossible,I won't grade it Mint,but I will safely grade it Near Mint to Near Mint-.
This gatefold record cover grades EX-+,even with the drill hole,it's a beauty (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 52 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
