Small Faces From The Beginning Original 1967 Decca Mono pressing. Decca LK 4879 Mono Matrix A; XARL-7881 - 8B Matrix B: XARL-7882-8A
Sleeve Condition: Very Good: Very respectable example, no rips. Manufctured by Clout & Baker Ltd, front Laminated Age related browning to rear, creases to spine but all spine text legible.
Inner Sleeve: Good Polylinned inner sleeve with blue print. I dont believe this is the original Decca inner sleeve which came with the album when new.
Labels: Good Both sides suffer from play related wear around centre hole. Side 2 label has some water staining, but all text is legible.
Vinyl: Good The vinyl has numerous age related marks
Sound: Good The record has obviously been played many times. However the record does not skip when played. The mono sound is very punchy with no distortion. vinyl noise is audible between tracks. Some tracks suffer form pops and clicks while playing, but you still get a very listenable experience.
This album would be a good collection filler for any Small Faces, Mod or 60's music collector.
This album was play graded at volume using: Pro-Ject Carbon turntable, Sony Amplifier, Mission Speakers.
