SMALL FACES - 'MY MIND'S EYE'/'I CAN'T DANCE WITH YOU'
Eager for the group to release a song before Christmas 1966, Small Faces manager Don Arden had in his possession an unfinished, rough demo copy of 'My Mind's Eye' which he approved for release and which briefly made it to the shops. However, it was quickly withdrawn and replaced by the more familiar polished hit mix.
This NEAR MINT copy contains that rare withdrawn demo version of 'My Mind's Eye' on the blue and silver Decca label: F 12500
Matrix numbers: XDR-39235-T1-1C & XDR-39236-T1-1C
Stamper codes: 1/K & 1/C
The disc is housed within its original orange & white striped Decca company sleeve.

An immaculate pair with just two or three faint spindle marks around the side 2 centre hole, but none on 1.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surface which are 'as new' both in strong daylight with just small handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
This great sounding, barely played rough and raw version of thier massive hit plays flawlessly both sides with no traces of any groove/play wear or any other faults.

As good as it gets.
