previously listed and sold, but due to a mistake in the listing as a buy it now, and a very understanding buyer, it has been cancelled and re listed as an auction.
Original 1968 mono Lilac first pressing of the Iconic Small Faces Ogdens Nut Gone Flake.
NOW THE BAD PART.... Firstly The Cover...
As you can see the cover has not stood the test of time, and has separated. It has been taped at some time, but even that has failed. It is not in great condition...
Secondly, the LP...Or LP's in this case.
I have two LP.s to send with this cover. In the pictures you will see i have laid them out to show SIDE 2 (Happiness Stan) and SIDE 1 (Ogdens nut gone flake).
The LP showing SIDE 2 plays great on side 1. it does have clicks and a lot of surface noise, however on side 2 it jumps on track one, and track 4...once again it has a lot of surface noise.
The LP showing SIDE1, is not as good. On side 1 it jumps a lot on track 3 & 4. You can feel a large mark going across the tracks. On side 2 it jumps on track 1 & 2.
I was told that with some professional help, these can be rectified. It cant be eradicated completely, but it will be able to play through with surface noise etc. I was going to see if this could be done, but I have recently came across another copy that i have purchased, so thought I would give some one else the chance to restore these.
