AUDIO
An absolute delight. Plays through with mostly clear channels ,and the monotone perspective is perceived with a tremendous depth of sound and each tone is delivered with a razor sharp edge. Will please the keenest vinyl enthusiast. No faults at all to mention. No scratches, nor any other disturbance on sound. Will not get any better than this. At least an excellent aural delivery!Pure investment quality!
Labels
The pale lilac coloration is stunning against the highly polished , jet black surfaces of the vinyl. The first pressed lilac labels are pale in coloration and display several spindle lines on either side .The earliest, first issue label, has been carefully embossed with the KT tax code, only found on the very first UK pressings. The spindle lines on the labels are faint and not very prominent, on viewing this vintage classic. The lilac Immediate labels have NO rips. No tears. No graffiti of any kind. No mottling. No crusting. All text is clearly legible. Remarkable examples of this very first UK pressed, label format! At least very good + !One to treasure !
Vinyl
Thick cut, heavy weight monster slab with mirror like surfaces / excellent sheen, with a solid feel . First UK pressing with a much thicker cut and built to the highest standard of British craftsmanship. Later issues were flimsier, more flexible and less robust . Stunning high gloss appearance .Several light surface/stylus marks visible when angled against a strong light, and the odd hairline ,ONLY possibly caused by sleeve removal ! Remarkable condition and is proving very difficult to locate with the earliest first Mothers and stampers, confirming one of the earliest to roll off the factory press! Beautiful high gloss visual.
ALBUM cover
Single sleeve 1st issue, endorsed with PATENTS PENDING TEXT !!A genuine original, 1st issue sleeve.
Printed by Garrod and Lofthouse ,with the thicker card manufacture, in at least excellent- condition. Stephen Hill designed !Unbelievable condition . Reverse face has the slightest of ring wear ,and faintly again on the front face, boasting a glorious matt finished album cover, carefully handled and quite sensational. Spinal column - excellent! Appears with NO hand writing! No tears , nor rips, and the slightest age discoloration on reverse. Will find hard to locate a better example of this 1st issue 1967 Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with the PATENTS PENDING text!!! Ultra clean.
Original Inner sleeve ,poly lined with the playing/care handling text in blue print. Ex+ condition.
