Description: I have the pleasure of offering for sale on E-Bay the rare Small Faces first issued mono record album “Untitled” on the Decca red and silver un-boxed label. This record was the Small Faces first ever album the group issued in 1966, this record is in near mint condition. Comes from a family archive collection which I am now putting up for sale, giving someone else the opportunity to purchase and own this rare record.
Record Sleeve:
The record sleeve is in excellent condition no creases or writing, laminated front cover and plain un-laminated back. The un-laminated back has some very minor handling marks, due to being handled when out of plastic sleeve. The sleeve covers notes are by Tony Brainsby, and printed by James Upton Ltd England. (See photos for information).
Label:
The labels are in excellent to near mint condition with no writing or rubbing, the record shows very little spindle wear. (see photos for information)
Record:
Record condition report I have played the record twice both sides and it has excellent audio experience quality lies flat on the turntable, with excellent audio and sound quality. The record is near mint condition no visual marks on vinyl, I would grade this rare Decca record as near mint condition, hard to find in this condition a lovely example. The record from the Small Faces first produced and issued with first issue matrix numbers 5A-3A. This is a rare record to find in this near mint condition, on the scarce and rare Decca unboxed red label first issue. (See photos for more information)
I am not a professional record dealer just selling family owned records, and have tried to give a full and honest account of the records condition. My grading of this record is near mint condition with excellent audio and sound quality, and excellent quality record sleeve and labels.
Happy Bidding!!!
PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.

The Record Grading
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...
NEAR MINT: A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
