SMALL FACES - 'SMALL FACES'
This EXCELLENT 1st UK MONO pressing of their electrifying debut album dates from from its initial May 1966 release

It is on the deep-groove, unboxed red Decca label: LK 4790

Matrix numbers: XARL-7217-4A & XARL-7218-3A

Stamper codes: 1/BH & 1/BG

Vinyl weight: 152g

Housed in a front laminated 'James Upton Ltd.' printed mono cover, complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve

Clean & vibrant with some moderate spindle wear around each centre hole

Visual: EXCELLENT

Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing just a few light fingernail scuffs and in strong daylight, but no scratches or any other significant wear. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp light adds nothing more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

This highly enjoyable sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but is without an noticeable deterioration to the sound quality. All tracks play with the power and clarity intended and are free from any groove/playwear or any clicks, pops or other such distractions.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

A respectable, fully intact example of this fragile cover which retains a clean, unworn, gloss front panel laminate bearing little more than a handful of light/small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards its front opening edge

There is a little wear to the upper left corner but nothing to any of the others or to either opening edge. The exposed rear panel bears some moderate age/storage marks but is free from any writing or missing paper

Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully worded

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
