Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Triple Vinyl LP. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
The Holy Grail for Pumpkins fans and justifiably so. I travelled to London and queued outside HMV on Oxford Street on the day this came out to get a copy.
It is without question the definitive version of arguably the last great "rock" album ever made.
The three disc / 6 side format allows the songs to be ordered by mood / style and the rather chaotic CD running order falls away to reveal the extent of the albums true vision and sweep. The extra tracks complete the picture and include the superb instrumental "Infinite Sadness" which is possibly the last Pumpkins song ever recorded with Butch Vig.
In addition the artwork is allowed to breathe properly and the lyric booklet is a thing of beauty.
The records have only been played a couple of times at most on a Linn with a new stylus and are in mint condition.
The sleeve has a few very minor creases as well as natural crease wear on the corners. The album has been stored vertically since purchase and out of direct sunlight - there is no fading.
Interestingly the Ltd Edition #3795 contains the year of release!

I am sure I will regret selling this as soon as it's gone but it really needs to be played every day and just make someone's world a better place.
