The Smashing Pumpkins’ Teargarden by Kaleidyscope Vol. II: The Solstice Bare is the second installment in their ambitious 44-song project, released on November 22, 2010. This limited-edition box set includes a deluxe 12-inch vinyl picture disc and a 4-song EP CD in a letterpressed sleeve. The vinyl features an exclusive track, “Cottonwood Symphony,” not available on the CD.

The box set’s lid features a metallic/foil wallpaper motif with a 1970s design by The Flavor Paper Co. The EP was released exclusively in physical formats, aligning with Billy Corgan’s vision of offering free digital downloads alongside collectible physical releases.  
This release is part of the Teargarden by Kaleidyscope project, where songs were made available online for free, with periodic physical EPs issued along the way.
