Up for auction is the Teargarden By Kaleidyscope Volume 2 The Solstice Bare box set from The Smashing Pumpkins! This is quite the elaborate collection from an era of the band that went largely under the radar. As the band reaches legend status today, this is one of the more unique and rare pieces of memorabilia for the band that one can find. A must have for any alt-rock and Smashing Pumpkins collector. The vinyl in particular is absolutely stunning. It's some of the coolest artwork that I've ever seen featured on a vinyl record. Either side of the vinyl would make an excellent display piece to hang on ones wall.
The vinyl is in mind condition and has never been played, the C.D. is in excellent condition. The only flaw with the item is wear to the bottom of the box from shelf wear. There's an area in the corner where the paper has rubbed off. There's also a small flaw on the front cover. These flaws are both highlight in the photos.
This was a release that was in a much smaller production run compared to other Smashing Pumpkins releases so it's something that I reckon will only go up in value. Best of luck to the bidders.
