Description

Smokey Smothers, The Driving Blues Of Smokey Smothers (Polydor 623 239). The quite scarce 1966 UK issue of his King LP. Small-group blues in the Jimmy Reed manner, with Sonny Thompson (piano) and Freddy King (guitar).

Condition: the disc looks flawless – no signs of wear or damage. The jacket is somewhat worn, mainly along the spine and the open side, and the lamination is creased (but not broken) in several places. The back is grubby, and has a price – 19/11 – written in ballpoint pen at the top righthand corner. But there are no tears, splits or serious creases.
