The winner of this auction will also receive ONE of the Algernon Cadwallader “Fun” 7-inch records pictured in the last photo. I helped put out the “Fun” 7,” and when each pressing came out, I set aside a couple for myself, including unique color variations. However, I never set aside any covers for the records that I kept, so I now want to get rid of some of them. My strategy is to include one “Fun” 7” with each of the records whose auctions end Sunday, August 6. If you win this auction and have a color preference, include a note with your Paypal payment. If more than one person wants the same color; that record will go to the person who paid first. If those people pay at the same time, it’ll go to the person whose winning bid was highest. If you win more than one of the auctions ending August 6, I’ll include more than 1 “Fun” 7”. Three auctions=three Fun 7”s, for example.
I think there were 3 pressings of this record, but I’m not certain, and I don’t remember which colors were 1st pressing, etc. Actually, I do remember that the lime green ones are from the last pressing; there were no more center labels after part of the pressing, so the plant just used blank, colored labels for the rest of the vinyl. There are 2 records on the far left of the last photo that look like black vinyl. The upper one is black; the lower one is actually a dark, smoky clear/black mix. I won’t send the black vinyl 7” to anyone unless they specifically request it. Each “Fun” 7” will be packaged in only a white paper sleeve.
Check my other auctions. I’m selling records by Snowing (LP & 7”), Glocca Morra, The Spirit of the Beehive, Grown Ups, Boyfriends (members of 1994!), and other records by Algernon (both LP’s plus the demo 7”). Win multiple items and US shipping is still free.
