Social Distortion ?– Mommy's Little Monster

Genre: Rock Style: Rock & Roll, Punk Year: 1983 Notes: This grouping gathers together all versions of the "Mommy's Litle Monster" album, originally released in 1983 on vinyl, as well as subsequent repressings and bootleg versions.

Officially, the entire back catalogue was re-issued for the first time on the CD/tape format (again on vinyl) in 1989 by Triple X Records, and again on the CD/tape/vinyl formats in remastered form in 1995 (this time on Time Bomb Recordings, who handles all of the band's non-Epic Records recordings). Epitaph Europe also re-issued the remastered version in 2010.

"Mommy's Little Monster" is the first album by American punk rock band Social Distortion, released in 1983 (though the CD erroneously notes 1982).

The album was critically acclaimed but was, however, not commercially successful. The album includes their live staples "The Creeps", "Another State of Mind", "Telling Them" and the title track, which has been frequently played by KROQ.
