Soft Cell – This Last Night In Sodom (PROMO LP 1984). Used. MINT condition, no marks on the record or the sleeve (see my picture). Catalogue Number: MADOX 212. UK release on Phonogram Records. Very rare four track record released to promote the Soft Cell LP "This Last Night In Sodom". The thick card record sleeve has promotional cards on both sides. The rear of the sleeve features information covering the release date (16 March 1984), songs, credits, marketing campaign and background messages about how this would be the last Soft Cell LP (see my picture). The information ends with the following statement "Giving their all, as there is no tomorrow, Soft Cell have stopped at nothing to treat their followers and the unsuspecting record buying public alike to an aural exoerience which knows no bounds...". The front of the LP features a demo version of the picture eventually used for the sleeve of the final LP release (see my picture). The record features the following text printed on both sides of the record label "ADVANCE PROMOTIONAL RADIO PLAY COPY - STRICTLY NO RESALE". Tracks: Side A. 1. Meet Murder, My Angel, 2. Mr Self Destruct. Side B: 1. L'Esqualita, 2. Down In The Subway (Listed as the new single). This is an original 1984 release, it is NOT a re-issue. For added protection, a 12" plastic sleeve is included free with this item and it will be posted in a trade card mailing box along with cardboard stiffeners for extra security. I have sent thousands of packages all over the world so rest assured your parcel will be well packaged. I believe it is very important for the goods to be received in the same MINT condition as posted. Therefore I only use quality packaging and this is reflected in the packaging charge.
