SOFT MACHINE . Third . Double Album . CBS . 1970 . A1 B1 C1 D1 . Original CBS Inner Sleeves. Rare
I haven't played this album for many years and from what I remember it doesn't skip, but it might crackle a little because of it's age.
Records: Very good condition, there are some small scratches and hairline scratches which are not that noticeable, but more noticeable on 'Facelift' and the opening and middle of 'Out-Bloody-Rageous'. Without playing the whole album from what I can see the condition looks fine. All the labels are clean and intact. I was going to rate it excellent, but as it is quite an old album it would be safer to rate it as very good.
The sleeve: Good/very good condition and showing it's age. There is no major damage, but there is quite a lot of wear along the edges and corners, also the spine is worn and is not legible (please see photo) The opening edges are a little wavy, there is also some ringwear on the front and reverse and a scratch on the front.The inside of the gatefold sleeve is ok and is in very good condition.
The Inner Sleeves: Good/very good condition. These are the original CBS sleeves, both are creased and yellowing with age but not torn or damaged. As you can see in the photos they are definitely showing their age.
I've tried to be correct as possible about the description of this album and I'm keeping the price low because of the condition.
The records will be sent by standard delivery (signed for if I get a good bid ) and packed in a strong record mailer with corrugated boards.
