This is the original Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Solomon Ilori “African High Life” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4136. The playing surface is in very nearly new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated New York 23 cover is in amazing condition –bright and clean throughout – with sharp corners and perfect seams; “REVIEW COPY” stamped in the center of the top of the back slick; ½” ding at the lower right corner. Illustrated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Chief Bey, Montego Joe, Jay Berliner, and Ahmed Abdul-Malik. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
