An essential item for any serious classical collection: legendary conductor Sir Georg Solti's magnificent Decca recording of Wagner's mighty 'Ring des Nibeliungen'.
The four operas in the cycle -'Das Rheingold', 'Die Walkure', 'Siegfried' and 'Gotterdammerung' are housed in four handsome retro-style box sets with individual illustrated libretto which are contained in a handsome slipcase. The 14 discs have been brilliantly remastered and Decca's classic sound is better than ever.
My copy is in pristine condition and is therefore being sold as new. As either an introduction to Wagner's greatest work or as an important addition to an ongoing collection, these unforgettable recordings are a must-have. Available at a special starting price, this is a bargain you cannot afford to miss!
