Description
Here we have one of the Holy Grail's of Rockabilly. Recorded in Clovis New Mexico - it's Sonee West's Sweet Rockin' Baby/Rock-Ola Ruby on Nor-Va-Jak 45WA1956. Matrix numbers read GB0W7082 and GB0W7083. This record is extremely rare - I have only seen the 78 for sale.
The condition of the record is good. It is worn - no chips, labels have some writing but plays vg with no skips. There is some surface noise - but probably about average for a 50 year old record that was mixed in with Elvis and Little Richard Records. Sweet Rockin' Baby does have a light pop that goes for about 10 seconds about 30 seconds into the record. Not anything too serious - does not detract from the music. Hopefully by the photos you have a good idea of record condition.
I hate to get rid of this but I am turning my collection into guitars - preferably 60's Stratocaster - thus the reason for selling.
If you have any questions please ask. Overseas buyers are okay with insurance extra. Good luck and enjoy. Thanks.
