Description

Cool, hard-to-find 1950’s/early 60’s LP performed by Dixie College Band & Choir (St. George, UT - now Utah Tech University) in good+ condition. The album’s cover refers to “Dixie,” but features other songs with themes of settlers and local landmarks, reflecting both local pride and sentiments of early settlement in St. George. Includes songs: The Spirit of Old Dixie; Dixie, O Dixie; Shenandoah, etc.

Some age-related surface wear to outer slipcover and vinyl, but the sound is excellent.

I’ve played this album and it is a quality production with excellent performances.
