Songs The Beatles Made Famous - One Of a Kind Cover?? GRC 1001 w/unique cover. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
Supposedly the first Beatles bootleg ever made.
I have not found this "The Original Greatest Hits" on the internet with the white sticker that is applied saying "Songs The Beatles Made Famous" all the way across the top front of the album. I have found other copies of this album, but NONE with this over application, like the paste over on "yesterday And Today". I may have a one of a kind! I am asking the biggest (bigger than me) Beatles fan to find this and reply as to what it sold for. Until then, the price is $999.
This is not about the record, but about the cover. The record is in G+ condition. It plays through but it has had heavy use. Small "divet" in the vinyl on "I want to hold your hand". Pictures show the bottom tear of 3 to 4", and the top has a 1/2" tear starting at both ends. The spine is in unusually good shape with no tears. The inner record cover has been replaced with new.
Cleaned on Spin Clean machine. Includes a new vinyl cover. I include new inner sleeves when originals are torn on more than one side. Shipped in a professional box with double cardboard inserts. All of my grading is to Goldmine standards, not the hokey one that allow a crappy record to be rated VG+.
