Description

Please read the whole description, thank you.  Sonny Boy Williamson Down And Out Blues 1st US Press 1959 Mono P Vinyl, Sheldon stamped in run out. If it weren't for one scratch on Don't Start Me To Talkin' I would be grading this record as a very very strong VG record, but all it takes is one scratch that affects play and it brings down the rating of a record. On that track during about a 30 second span the needle gets pushed forward a bit on about 3 different points during a 30 second span give or take. On my record player it doesn't skip/loop but makes the needle jump forward. I would advise to just not play this track. The rest of the record plays very very well with only occasional snips or a minor pop here and there. No ever present static, ever present popping, or terrible crackle. Again if it weren't for the 1st track in which there's a scratch that jostles the needle forward I'd be grading this record as a strong VG. The jacket is in VG condition. There are no seam splits and no frayed corners. There's some minor wear to the seams and cover, and the former owner got a little possessive and put their name in 6 places, 5 on the back and stamped once on the center label.
