Up for auction:  Sonny Rollins Blue Note 1558 Vol. 2 W. 63rd Deep Groove Ear RVG Jazz LP.

Condition is Used.  

This is an album to have if you love side one (1) and want a decent cover and sleeve.

Cover and Sleeve:  

Front VG + Sleeve VG+.  Both have splits on one side opposite opening but still looks beautiful and glossy.

Back Cover: VG- because of writing and slight discoloration.

Vinyl:

Side 1 (one) VG+ label a little faded but vinyl plays perfect with very very slight static ticks in a couple of places.

Side 2 (two) VG+ plays nice except for: track 2 which has an inch of horror ( G - ) Deep scratches ( about an inch through track ) causing ticks and skip repeat which you must lift to clear area, which is why the G- grading for the 2 nd track song only.

Depends on your turntable and stylus, plays through on my MCS turntable which has a fair stylus but not on my JVC QL Y 55 that has a finer stylus.

Anyway, if you can live with all that then you can bid on my auction.

* I test all of my records on a JVC QL y 55F turntable.

Bid confidently, my grading is very conservative.

I am an avid record collector (since my early teens -  I am 73 years old now) with a collection of 10,000+.  Time to downsize.  I will be putting more vinyl up for auction.  They will include Blue Note, Prestige labels- blues,  jazz, etc... Also: hard rock, 60s, 70s, 8 and other genres. Most old stuff like me. Majority in nice to excellent condition.
