Description
This is an auction of a GREAT VINTAGE JAZZ LP - Sonny Rollins - Plays for Bird - PRESTIGE PRLP-7095 - VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1st PRESS with 446 WEST 50th NYC DEEP GROOVE MONO labels LP - Engineered by RUDY VAN GELDER with "RVG" hand etched in the deadwax trailoff of both sides. With Sonny Rollins Kenny Dorham Wade Legge George Morrow and Max Roach.
Record is visually graded as VG with many light and some heavier scratches - PLAYS WITH SOME SURFACE NOISE/TICKS and has a skip inside the first song side 2 and a possible skip on side one that happened once and did not happen the next time. Labels show spindle wear, cover presents well but is VG+ due to a 2 1/2" split at the lower right bottom edge and some aging and staining on back. Cover has great Reid Miles cover art that would look great framed. BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE - THIS LP is NOT RETURNABLE.
