Description
Up for bid is a rare LP, the self title release from Sonny Rollins. This is a mono LP, released by Blue Note (BLP 1542). Interior labels have the Lexington address on either side. The address on the bottom of the back of the jacket reads 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. Interior labels have a deep groove on either side. There is an ear and RVG etched in the matrix area on either side. LP has a flat edge. Here is some extra info about this LP, from the internet:

LP is VG, with scuffs and light scratches on each side. LP plays with some surface noise with no skips - sounds nice! Interior labels are clean. Here are several tracks and a couple of excerpts from this actual LP, for reference:

Jacket is G, with the majority of the bottom seam split. The spine and the top seam have visible wear (see pictures). All seams and corners show wear. There is ring wear and scuffing on the front and back of the jacket (see pictures). There are a couple of small tears of the bottom of the paste on artwork on the back (see pictures). A previous owner has wrritten their name in black ink on the back cover and there is a sticker on the back cover from the company that originally sold this LP (see pictures). This would be a great addition to a jazz collection! Don't miss this rare gem! We will pack this securely for safe delivery - this will be a little heavy due to the inserts we put in the LP mailer. LP will be packaged inside of a paper sleeve and placed outside of the jacket in a poly bag. Domestic delivery will be via USPS media mail including a tracking number.
