Description

VERY RARE!   Danish Metronome Saxophone Colossus by Sonny Rollins. This is the original 1st danish Prstige/Metronome version stamped from the  original Prestige Matrix and has RVG and PRLP 7079 A and PRLP 7079  B in the dead wax. Also AB stamped  on each side

Vinyl is heavy and sounds realy fantastic, loud and clear  like the 1st yellow label US versions, but is actually much rarer.

Record grades conservatively at strong VG+, most seller would  grade it as EX , with light background noise on the album, nothing overpowering. few superficial scratches on the vinyl itself, it has  very light clicks on the Side 2, 1st track on the drums solo part area due this  clicks this track graded as strong  VG. Played with the Shure M3D stereo cartridge, but with the mono cartridge  usualy plays even better.
