Description
Classic Sonny Rollins Lp "Tenor Madness" on Prestige. This is a deep groove, mono pressing on the West 50th Street label. Hard-to-find early pressing of this classic. Great starting price.
LP: VG There are numerous hairlines, some of which are feelable. We played this one, and it sounds much better than it looks. The fidelity of the instruments is clear and strong. There are some clicks and pops, but they don't overwhelm the music. Not for the audiophile, but a decent copy at a great starting price.
Cover: The cover is on the border of VG and VG+. The cover has little wear, but there is tape residue on the top seam. There is some corner wear, and 1/2 of the top seam is split, but there is very little ringwear.
