Item:
This is a mono copy of Sonny Rollins Vol. 2 on Blue Note Records (BLP 1558) featuring the "Deep Groove" indentations on both sides 1 and 2. The address on the LP (labels pictured below) is 47 West 63rd NYC. There is neither an 'inc.' after the blue note records banner or a trademark beneath the big white "E" on the lower part of the label.Cover: 6.8/10 (VG)
The top seam is splitting in the center - a 3 inch split. Along that same area, there is flaking of the laminate. There are a few other areas with flaking of the laminate and some small seam splits. There is corner rounding. A few sticker marks are also present on the front. There is minimal writing on the back (pictured below) but the back is very clean otherwise.
Vinyl: 9.8/10 (NM)
The vinyl sounds almost perfect. I have listened to this record the whole way through on my audiophile equipment and except for the entry wax, there are NO pops, hisses, skipping or anything else that would compromise the sound of the record. I only ranked it short of mint due to VERY FEW minute scratches that do not sound AT ALL. It's also more than 50 years old!

There is some sticker residue on both labels. Side one is clearly worse, but are only cosmetic flaws. Other than these marks, the labels are pristine. The spindle holes are very tight.
