Description

Up for sale is an original 1957 1st press of Sonny Rollins Vol 2 Blue Note BLP 1558. Matrix runout BN-LP-1558-A RVG "ear"/BN-LP-1558-B-1 RVG "ear". 47 West 63rd New York 23 on both labels. Deep groove and blank spine.

Record is carefully playgraded and visual graded as follows: Playgraded at VG+. There is 1 light non-feelable mark that will produce a light tick for 12 rotations during the track "You Stepped Out Of A Dream". Nothing overpowering, but it is noticeable. Otherwise, this record sounds fantastic. Visually, strong VG, just a shade under VG+. There are a few faint, non-feelable marks (1 at the beginning of side 1, a couple on side 2) that do not effect play. The cover is a strong VG, just a shade under VG+. There is some peeling on the laminated front cover along the bottom right corner as well as next to Jay Jay Johnson's name. Small sticker on top left corner.Some light staining/discoloration noticeable on the back cover. A little bit of shelf wear on the corners. Strong seams and spine.
