Sonny Rollins Quartet
'Worktime' 1956
Esquire 32-038 First UK Pressing 1956 - fully laminated cover with flipback sleeve
With Max Roach, Ray Bryant and George Morrow - recorded 2 December 1955
A rare and much sought after record that rivals Rollins' 'Saxophone Colossus' and 'Tenor Madness'. This one is in wonderful condition.
CONDITION
RECORD EX Beautiful Esquire record - heavy vinyl and an incredible sound quality. The only crackle I could detect is at the beginning of side 2 track 1. There is a small mark at the beginning of side 1 track 1 which does not affect the sound at all. There isn't even any noticeable crackle between tracks! Magnificent record.
Cover EX Beautiful. Small area of raised/torn laminate on back cover next to opening.Tiny mark in one corner. Astonishing condition for its age.
Labels EX
Original inner sleeve EX- Crease to one corner
I use Record Collector gradings
