Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Sonny Rollins “Volume 2” on the New York 23 labels (both sides) of Blue Note BLP 1558. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; occasional inaudible splotches that are typical of records that have been stored for a long period in their original inner sleeves. The laminated West 63rd St. cover is clean throughout, with normal age toning on the back slick; a few light discolorations along the right edge of the back slick; 1 ½” clean break at the center of the bottom seam. Personnel include J.J. Johnson, Thelonious Monk, Paul Chambers, and Art Blakey. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
