This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Sonny Rollins “Saxophone Colossus” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7079. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with sound quality that is crisp and clean throughout. The laminated West 50th Street cover is clean throughout; light lamination lifting/flaking along the front opening; the spine has 1” light superficial wear at the top, 2 ½” wear at the center, and 1/8” chip towards the bottom.
