Description

Sonny Simmons (with Barbara Donald, Jerry Sealund, Billy Higgins, Mike Cohen) RUMASUMA Contemporary Records S 7623.  Stereo, recorded 1969.  Black-on-white label, though no indication of "Prmotional". Despite visually perfect groove surface, there’s a low-level crackling going on all the time. VG+. Jacket is VG++ with one bent corner.


Here’s the fourth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
