Description
Sony WM-DD9 Quartz locked dual disc drive Walkman. Own a piece of history, the 'holy grail' walkman widely recognised as the best ever made. Single owner, reluctant sale.
Condition of items Walkman – Full working condition, all buttons work as intended, sounds fantastic! Please see photos for cosmetic condition and note that some corners show minor rubbing marks consistent with age. I've tried to show this in the closeup. Carry case – This is a great feature of this model and has kept the walkman in top condition for nearly 30 years. Includes screw in attachment for a solid connection between walkman and case. Note that the top layer of the case vinyl has peeled and there is no Sony logo on the case anymore. In my opinion, this doesn't detract from the case. Headphones and case – The earbuds themselves were working until recently, but as you can see from the photo, the headphone cable is now damaged and needs to be replaced. Note that the headphones now require repair and are not working. The headphone case is in good working order, scratches and marks consistent with age. Charger – Good working condition. No batteries provided but are easy to find on eBay by searching for 'Sony NC-W6M'
