Description
Artist: JAMES BROWN
Title: “The Amazing James Brown and his Famous Flames”
Label: KING ~ K 743. Monaural pressing on heavy weight vinyl. Label is black with silver text, “large” KING logo, with wide deep groove. First pressing.
Year: 1961
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is EXCELLENT with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care. There are a few slight scuffs, not audible, no serious marks or problems. Fidelity is excellent. Labels are clean.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ with no major issues. Front artwork is nice and bright. Seams are intact for a split (approximately 6 inches) at bottom right, and a very tiny split just starting to occur at top right corner (less than one-half inch). Reverse has darkened slightly with age. No writing or stickers. Overall a very nice early KING jacket you will be proud to display.
Very rare to find these early James Brown first pressings in such nice shape. This one is from our personal collection. Winning bidder will be quite pleased.
