Description

SOUNDGARDEN - SUPERUNKNOWN - 2 x Vinyl LP  RARE 2004 reissue, pressed at Pallas in Germany and mastered by Willem Makkee as an ALL ANALOGUE pressing  - 320 in the matrix. Super RARE, this is the definitive pressing of this record.
When I bought it a few years ago, it was described as NM by the seller but arrived in the following condition:   LP1/Side 1 has a couple marks, one being an audible scratch at the end of My Wave through the beginning of Fell On Black Days. The scratch causes a clipping sound on each rotation that last for about a minute or so.  Initially it skipped on this section, but after cleaning it with distilled water it no longer skips but still makes a clipping sound. *Note: while it doesn't skip anymore on my system, it does not mean it won't skip on yours. I want to make sure you understand this BEFORE you buy it!
Aside from aforementioned audible scratch, the rest of LP1 and LP2 plays EX and sounds AMAZING The Cover is VG+ with some wear on the corners and edges. There is some foxing on the top seam as well. Both Printed Inserts are included
I've attached photos and the last two show the scratch I mentioned above. Priced to sell for someone who wants great, but slightly flawed, copy of this album. Most of these have been selling for $400+ due to the increased rarity. This is a great deal at $125.

These were released on The Universal Records Label in 2004 as a Re-issue for a short Period in 2004, the 10th anniversary of the original release. Printed and Pressed at Pallas in Germany, these were Mastered by Willem Makkee. Makkee insisted on the original analogue tapes rather than high res digital files. He did so because he wanted to create a definitive all analogue pressing. It is, by far, the best I've ever heard this record. They now sell upwards of $400 if you can find one.
It is packaged in a gatefold sleeve and it also retains the original cover artwork rather than the altered version that appears on the 2014 pressing. The LPs are standard weight again, just like the 1994 press, but this time pressed on black vinyl. Here are the matrix stampings on the “320” reissue:
