Description

NEW YEAR SWINGSTERS  Birds' Haven/Zone 1, Meadowlands  South African Winner OK.138   c1962  E+   many New Years Swingsters records feature    at least part of the Elite Swingsters (out dodging their Teal contract while getting some extra money doing 'underground' sessions for a rival company) - this one has tenor solos that sound like Paul Rametsi and a piano on the b side that is probably Gideon Nxumalo - four saxes, acoustic rhythm guitar, string bass and drums

BIDDERS PLEASE READ!  These records must be shipped from South Africa so eBay's standard $4.00 postal rate applicable to internal North American shipments does not apply.  (The eBay template requires that a shipping fee of no more than $4.00 be entered so I have complied, but common sense should tell you that it costs more to ship a record 10,000 miles from the southern end of the African continent to, say, Chicago than it will from Des Moines.)  SO, DO NOT SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE REFLECTING THE ACTUAL COST OF POSTAGE !  I can ship to any location from Albania to Zimbabwe.
