In the Townships, Dudu Pukwana and Spear, Caroline Records C1504 Stereo, Virgin Records, Made in the UK 1973.
Cover in VG++/M- condition.
Record / Vinyl in M- condition.

My grading system: M (Mint, totally untouched, as new), M- (Very light wear, looks and plays beautifully without any problems), VG++ (Light wear but still looks and plays beautifully without problems), VG+ (Slight wear, thin, light marks on vinyl, could have light surface noise), VG (Wear, cover could be torn, split, record has marks, plays ok but could have skips and surface noise) etc.
I SHIP WORLDWIDE WITH PROFESSIONAL RECORD MAILERS, ALL AT OFFICIAL "NO PROFIT TO ME" POSTAGE COSTS!!!
Postage costs are NOT $4 as Ebay indicates but at various prices. For the UK, 1 LP is usually around £3.50, for Europe 1 LP is usually $10 and for the USA and the rest of the World 1 LP is usually between $10-15.
Ok, big apologies for the delay in posting tracklisting and descriptions up this week. Here they are finally:
Side 1: Baloyi, Ezilalini, Zakude.
Side 2: Sonia, Angel Nemali, Nobomvu, Sekela Khuluma.
Musicians: Dudu Pukwana (Alto etc.), Mongezi Feza (Trumpet etc.), Bizo Mngqikana (Tenor etc.), Louis Moholo (Drums etc.), Harry Miller (Bass guitar).
Cover in VG++/M- condition (Hardly any wear whatsoever! Corner rubbing that's about it!).
Vinyl / record in M- condition (Very light scuffs which do not affect play, audio reproduction is perfect, hardly played record, beautiful).
Music contained within is Township Jazz of the highest order. Well, have a look at the musicians on this session, "la creme de la creme" of South African Jazz musicians exhiled in the UK in the beginning of the 70's. Track 1 is a tough tune with great vocal harmonies, rich layered music with an uplifting feeling, ah love this South African stuff! Track 2 is a more mellow affair, smoother which is lovely, vocal work coming in again, nice. Great Trumpet solo by Mongezi Feza. Side 2 begins with "Sonia", probably chosen track to illustrate the quality of this LP. Cool groovy tune with a strong piano riff leading it along. Blah blah blah. This record is great, if you like South African Jazz and don't have this, well you need it! Good luck with your bids.
